Hufflepuff Common Room
Okay I have gather a few things I've noticed on JKRowling's site that may have to do with the future of the book. I'm just guessing here so don't expect much of it.
1: on her desk there are dozens of gum wrappers because she said she quit smoking and now chews gum. Well in the fifth book (don't have the book with me so I can't look up the page numbers) when the Weasley's and Harry and Hermione go to the wizard hospital (I can't remember the name for the life of me) on Christmas they see Neville and his Granmother visiting with his parents. Before Neville leaves his mother hands him a gum wrapper and his Grandmother says something to the effect of: "Throw it away...you have enough to paper your bedroom". It wasn't those exact words but I know it was something to do with Neville having a lot of gum wrappers. Could these two things be connected somehow? Like maybe the Longbottom's are passing notes to Neville through the gum wrappers because Harry saw him put it in his pocket, rather than throw it away.
2: in the room with the stupid door that will never open, there is a table with a vase of daffodils. When Trelawny got sacked Lavender and Pavati brought her daffodils. Now if you stay in the room long enough Peeves comes along and knocks the vase over. Could this mean something?? Or maybing I'm reading too much into it.
3: the mirror in the room with the stupid door is placed very low on the wall judging by the lightswitch and the door handle. When you wait long enough Peeves comes and writes on the mirror "peeves woz ere" or something like that. But other than that nothing happens with the mirror. Could it be a mirror of erised because it's our desire to see what the heck is behind the door? And if so could that pointing out that what happens when Harry and Ron look in the mirror of erised will happen. Because Ron is now on the Quidditch team and could possibly become captian and also is a prefect so could possibly become head boy. And Harry might be joining his parents soon or something...just a thought.
4: in the trophy case there is a trophy for Bellatrix Black. What could Bellatrix done to get a trophy? I think we'll be seeing more of her in the future books because Harry will probably want to kill her to avange Sirius death.
5: in the bookcase there are two identical books side by side. This must mean something because they are the only two books that are doubled so there must be a reason for that. I'm thinking Fred and George maybe will do something important with the Order perhaps...
Anyways that's all I got so far. Lemme know what you think.
H.R. Huff and Puff (LOL. My first name begins with H and my last begins with R so I did a play on H.R. Huff and Stuff *the 70's TV show...I think it was Stuff...*)
